Job Requirements & Duties

  • Install and configure technology on agricultural equipment to optimize farm operations
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their farm conditions, production goals, and technology needs
  • Provide training and support to farmers and agricultural workers on how to use precision agriculture tools
  • Analyze collected farm data to offer recommendations on crop inputs and resource management
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot technology issues on farm machinery and devices
  • Respond to questions and provide technical support via phone, email, or on-site visits
  • Promote sustainable farming practices through efficient use of technology that minimizes environmental impact

Education & Training

  • A diploma, degree, or apprenticeship in Information Technology, Equipment Service, Agronomy, or Agricultural Business is required for this job. Certification such as Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) may also be beneficial.
