Job Requirements & Duties

Create and run programs that teach people about farming, food, and sustainable agriculture
Check how well programs are working and share the results with the team and community
Plan events and workshops to help communities learn about agriculture and food systems
Oversee program resources, staff, and budgets to make sure events and programs run smoothly
Work with schools, farmers, and community groups to understand what people want to learn about agriculture

Education & Training

A bachelor’s degree in education, community development, or a related field is usually required. Advanced degrees can help for more specialized roles. Experience with agriculture or food programs is a bonus.
