Job Requirements & Duties

  • Create and run programs that teach people about farming, food, and sustainable agriculture
  • Check how well programs are working and share the results with the team and community
  • Plan events and workshops to help communities learn about agriculture and food systems 
  • Oversee program resources, staff, and budgets to make sure events and programs run smoothly
  • Work with schools, farmers, and community groups to understand what people want to learn about agriculture

Education & Training

  • A bachelor’s degree in education, community development, or a related field is usually required. Advanced degrees can help for more specialized roles. Experience with agriculture or food programs is a bonus.
